Ace Frehley, born Paul Daniel Frehley on April 27, 1951, is an American musician and songwriter best known as the original lead guitarist and founding member of the rock band Kiss. Frehley played with Kiss from its inception in 1973 until his departure in 1982. He was known for his distinctive guitar solos and the iconic Spaceman persona he adopted during his time with the band. After leaving Kiss, Frehley pursued a successful solo career, releasing several albums and continuing to perform to this day.
