AJ Lee, whose real name is April Jeanette Mendez, is a retired professional wrestler and author. Born in March 1987 in New Jersey, she began her wrestling career on the independent circuit before joining WWE. AJ Lee is best known for her time in WWE, where she became a three-time Divas Champion and was instrumental in elevating women's wrestling in the organization. After retiring from in-ring competition, she pursued writing and released her memoir 'Crazy is My Superpower' in 2017.
