Biography

Alexander the Great, also known as Alexander III of Macedon, was a king of Macedon who created one of the largest empires in ancient history. Born in Pella in 356 BC, he was tutored by Aristotle and ascended to the throne after his father's assassination. Starting from Greece, he led his army across Asia Minor, Egypt, Persia, and parts of India, spreading Greek culture and creating the Hellenistic civilization. He is remembered for his military tactics, conquests, and vision of unity.
