Ana Patricia Botín is a Spanish banker who comes from a prestigious banking family. She was born on October 4, 1960 in Santander, Spain. Botín obtained a degree in Economics from Bryn Mawr College and MBA from Harvard Business School. She became the executive chairman of Banco Santander, the largest bank in the Eurozone by market capitalization, in 2014, making her the first woman to lead a major banking institution in the Eurozone.
