Charles Colson was an American attorney who became known for being a key figure in the Watergate scandal during President Richard Nixon's administration. He served as Special Counsel to the President and was involved in the attempts to cover up the scandal. After pleading guilty to obstruction of justice, he served seven months in prison and dedicated his life to prison ministry and Christian evangelism. Colson founded the Prison Fellowship ministry, which aimed to provide spiritual support and rehabilitation programs to prisoners.
