Anthony Gonzalez is an American former football player who played as a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on February 27, 1984, in Cleveland, Ohio. Gonzalez played college football at Ohio State University and was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft. Throughout his career, Gonzalez faced several injuries that hindered his performance on the field, leading to his retirement from professional football in 2012.
