About Anthony Ray Hinton
Anthony Ray Hinton is an American author and speaker who was wrongfully convicted of murder in 1985. He spent nearly 30 years on death row in Alabama before being exonerated in 2015. Since his release, Hinton has become an advocate against the death penalty and wrongful convictions. He has shared his story in his memoir 'The Sun Does Shine: How I Found Life and Freedom on Death Row' co-written with Lara Love Hardin.
