About Benjamin Harrison
Benjamin Harrison was the 23rd President of the United States, serving from 1889 to 1893. He was born in 1833 in Ohio and was a lawyer before entering politics. Harrison was known for his efforts to expand the Navy and for signing the Sherman Antitrust Act into law. He also supported the introduction of voting rights for African Americans. After his presidency, Harrison continued his legal career and was involved in various public causes. He passed away in 1901.
