Bert Campaneris is a former professional baseball shortstop who played primarily for the Kansas City and Oakland Athletics in Major League Baseball. He was known for his speed on the basepaths and his versatility, as he also played other positions throughout his career. Campaneris was a six-time All-Star and led the American League in stolen bases for six consecutive seasons. He was part of three World Series championship teams with the Athletics in the 1970s.
