About Bertrand Piccard
Bertrand Piccard, born in 1958, is a Swiss psychiatrist and aviator. He comes from a family of explorers and innovators. In 1999, Piccard and Brian Jones became the first people to complete a non-stop balloon flight around the world. Later, he initiated the Solar Impulse project with André Borschberg, leading to the first ever round-the-world solar flight in 2016.
