About Bill Cartwright
Bill Cartwright is a former professional basketball player known for his successful career in the NBA. Born in 1957, Cartwright played college basketball at the University of San Francisco before being selected as the 3rd overall pick in the 1979 NBA Draft by the New York Knicks. He played as a center for the Knicks, Chicago Bulls, and the Seattle SuperSonics during his NBA career, winning three NBA championships with the Bulls in 1991, 1992, and 1993. After retiring as a player, Cartwright transitioned into coaching and held various coaching positions in the NBA.
