About Bob Crane

Bob Crane was an American actor and disc jockey, best known for his role as Colonel Robert E. Hogan in the television sitcom Hogan's Heroes. He began his career as a radio broadcaster before transitioning to acting in the early 1960s. Crane's role in Hogan's Heroes brought him widespread fame and success, earning him two Emmy nominations. Tragically, his life was cut short at the age of 49 due to his unsolved murder in 1978.
