About Brian Banks
Brian Banks is a former American football player who falsely accused of rape in high school. Despite maintaining his innocence, he pleaded no contest and served over five years in prison. After his release, with the help of the California Innocence Project, his conviction was overturned in 2012, and he was exonerated. Banks went on to pursue a career in the NFL but ultimately did not make a team. He became a legal advocate for the wrongly convicted and a motivational speaker.
