About Brian Lara
Brian Lara is a former West Indian cricketer widely regarded as one of the greatest batsmen in the history of the sport. Born in 1969 in Santa Cruz, Trinidad and Tobago, Lara set numerous batting records during his career, including the highest individual score in first-class cricket and Test cricket.
