Brian Welch, also known as Head, is an American musician, singer, and songwriter. He is best known as one of the founding members and lead guitarist of the nu-metal band Korn. Welch's unique guitar style and stage presence helped propel Korn to international fame in the late 1990s and early 2000s. In 2005, he left the band to focus on his personal life and spiritual journey. Welch later returned to Korn in 2013 and continues to be an influential figure in the rock and metal music scene.
