About Buzz Aldrin
Buzz Aldrin, born Edwin Eugene Aldrin Jr. in 1930, is an American astronaut and engineer. He was the Lunar Module Pilot on the Apollo 11 mission, the first manned moon landing in 1969. Aldrin and Neil Armstrong were the first humans to walk on the moon. Aldrin also served as an officer in the United States Air Force and made significant contributions to space exploration and technology.
