About Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Antoine de Saint-Exupéry was a French writer, poet, aristocrat, journalist, and pioneering aviator. He is best known for his novella 'The Little Prince' which has been translated into numerous languages and is one of the most translated and best-selling books in the world. Saint-Exupéry also wrote several other books that drew upon his experiences as a pilot, including 'Night Flight' and 'Wind, Sand and Stars'. He disappeared during a reconnaissance flight over the Mediterranean Sea in 1944, and his plane wreckage was only discovered decades later.
