About Alain Rene Le Sage
Alain-René Lesage was a French novelist and playwright known for his satirical works. He was born in 1668 in Sarzeau, France. Lesage achieved fame with his masterpiece 'The Devil upon Two Sticks' (1707), which became a classic of French literature.
