About Alfred Lunt
Alfred Lunt (1892-1977) was an American actor and director known for his work on Broadway. He and his wife, Lynn Fontanne, were considered one of the greatest acting teams in theatrical history. Lunt made his Broadway debut in 1913 and went on to star in numerous stage productions, earning critical acclaim for his performances. He won two Tony Awards for Best Actor and received a Special Tony Award for lifetime achievement in the theater.
