Biography
Chiranjeevi is a prominent Indian actor and politician who has made significant contributions to the Telugu film industry as well as to Indian politics. Born in 1955 in Andhra Pradesh, he started his career in acting and quickly became a popular figure in the South Indian cinema. Apart from acting in numerous successful films, Chiranjeevi also founded his political party Praja Rajyam Party in 2008, which later merged with the Indian National Congress. He served as a Member of Parliament and Minister of State in the Government of India.
