Ernesto 'Che' Guevara was an Argentine Marxist revolutionary, physician, author, guerrilla leader, and diplomat. A major figure of the Cuban Revolution, Guevara became a close associate of Fidel Castro and played a key role in the successful guerrilla war that overthrew the Batista regime in Cuba.
