About Andrew Taylor Still
Andrew Taylor Still (1828-1917) was an American physician who founded osteopathy, a form of alternative medicine. He believed in treating the body as a whole and emphasized the importance of the musculoskeletal system in maintaining health. Still opened the American School of Osteopathy in Missouri in 1892, which was the first osteopathic medical school. His teachings and techniques had a significant impact on the development of osteopathic medicine in the United States.
