Chrysippus was a Greek philosopher from the Hellenistic period who became known as one of the most influential thinkers in Stoicism. He was born in circa 280 BC in Soli, Cilicia, and spent most of his life in Athens where he taught and wrote extensively on ethics, logic, physics, and theology.
