About Claudia Rankine
Claudia Rankine is an American poet, playwright, and professor known for her works that often address issues of race, identity, and social justice. She was born in 1963 in Jamaica and later moved to the United States with her family. Rankine has received numerous awards for her writing, including the National Book Critics Circle Award. She is also a chancellor of the Academy of American Poets and a professor at Yale University.
